1. Who we are

Abuur ("we", "us") is a website-building platform that lets you create and publish websites without code. This policy explains what data we collect when you use Abuur, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to abuur.so and every site-building service we operate.

2. Data we collect

Account data, your name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash) when you create an account.
Site content, the pages, text, and images you create or upload while building your website.
Payment data, when you subscribe, payments are processed by our payment providers (e.g. PayPal or mobile-money operators). We store your subscription status and transaction references, never your full card or wallet credentials.
Usage data, basic analytics about how the product is used (pages visited, features used, approximate location from IP, device type) to improve Abuur.
Anonymous drafts, if you try the editor without an account, we store your draft site under a temporary browser cookie so you can claim it when you sign up.

3. How we use your data

To provide, host, and publish the websites you build.
To operate your account, subscription, and custom domains.
To respond to support requests.
To send essential service emails (confirmation, receipts, security notices).
To understand product usage and improve Abuur.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use the content of your sites for advertising.

4. Where your data lives

Your account data and site content are stored with our cloud infrastructure providers (including Supabase and Vercel), which may process data in data centers outside your country. We choose providers with strong security practices, encryption in transit, and encryption at rest.

5. Cookies

Some cookies are needed for Abuur to work at all: they keep you signed in and remember a draft you started before making an account. Those are always on, because without them the product does not function.

Analytics is separate and optional. If you say yes, we use PostHog and Vercel Analytics to see which parts of Abuur people actually use, so we can improve them. If you say no, neither one is loaded at all — not blocked afterwards, never downloaded. We run no advertising cookies of any kind.

Websites you publish with Abuur carry none of this. They load no analytics and set no cookies of ours, so your visitors are not tracked by us.

6. Sites you publish

Websites you publish with Abuur are public. Content you place on a published site (including any personal data you choose to display, like a phone number) is visible to anyone who visits that site. You are responsible for the content of your published sites and for complying with applicable law in your jurisdiction.

7. Data retention & deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual sites at any time from your dashboard. To delete your entire account and its data, contact us at support@abuur.so , we will complete the deletion within 30 days. Unclaimed anonymous drafts are periodically removed.

8. Your rights

You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@abuur.so and we will respond within a reasonable time.

9. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you by email or with a notice in the product before the changes take effect.
