Terms of Service

1. The service

Abuur is a website-building platform: you create a website in our editor and we host and publish it, including on custom domains bundled with paid plans. By creating an account or using the editor you agree to these terms.

2. Your account

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password secure. You must provide accurate information and be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use Abuur.

3. Subscriptions & payment

  • Publishing a site requires an active paid subscription.
  • Prices are shown before you pay; subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
  • You can cancel any time from your dashboard, your site stays live until the end of the paid period.
  • Custom domains registered through a plan remain usable while the plan is active.

4. Your content

You own the content you create on Abuur. You grant us the technical licence needed to store, process, and serve that content, that is, to host and publish your site. You are responsible for having the rights to any text, images, or media you upload.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use Abuur to publish or distribute:

  • Content that is illegal in Somalia or in your jurisdiction;
  • Scams, phishing, malware, or deceptive commerce;
  • Content that infringes others' copyright or trademarks;
  • Hate speech, incitement to violence, or sexually explicit material;
  • Spam or bulk unsolicited marketing infrastructure.

We may suspend or remove sites that violate these rules. Where reasonable, we will warn you first.

6. Availability

We work hard to keep Abuur and published sites online, but the service is provided "as is" without a guaranteed uptime level. We are not liable for indirect damages or lost profits arising from downtime or data loss, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.

7. Termination

You can stop using Abuur and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or create risk for other users or the platform.

8. Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. For material changes we will notify you by email or in the product before they take effect. Continuing to use Abuur after changes take effect means you accept the new terms.
