Troubleshooting

My changes aren't showing on the live site

Updated 2026-08-24

Intabadan waxay sabab tahay inaanad weli daabicin (Publish). Guji Publish, kadib biraawsarka cusboonaysii (refresh).

Nine times out of ten the edit was saved but not published. Saving protects your work in the editor; publishing pushes it to the public site. They are deliberately separate steps.

  1. 1Open the editor and press Publish at the top.
  2. 2Wait for the confirmation, then reload your live site in a fresh tab.
  3. 3Still seeing the old version? Your browser is holding a cached copy. Hold refresh, or open the site in a private/incognito window, if the change appears there, visitors are seeing it fine.
  4. 4Edited the wrong site? Check the site name in the editor's top bar against the one in your dashboard list.

After publishing, test your site the way a customer arrives: a fresh tab, typing your domain. What you see in the editor is a preview, not the live page.

One more possibility if only a picture or logo looks stale: the old file is cached on the visitor's phone, not on your site. Ask someone else to check, if they see the new version, it was never broken.
